Procedure
- If you’re using cannabis flower, decarb it first by putting it on parchment paper and into the oven for 30-40 minutes at 245ºF. Grind your flower first for better results.
- Infuse 4 ounces of coconut oil with cannabis by mixing in the decarbed cannabis flower. Let it sit at least 2-3 hours on low heat. Strain the mixture to remove the plant material.
If you’re using a tincture, just mix it with the coconut oil and stir it on medium heat for 45-60 minutes.
- Mix ½ a cup of water and 4 ounces of cannabis-infused coconut oil in the pot.
- Set the burner on low heat and place the pot.
- Add 1 ounce of lecithin to the mixture and whisk until it dissolves.
- Add 3 ounces of jello to the mixture and cook at medium heat for 5-8 minutes. Whisk until all the jello dissolves.
- Next, add ¼ cup of corn syrup to the mixture and heat to boil (medium heat).
- Heat ¼ cup of Kool-Aid + water mixture in a microwave for approximately 30 seconds.
- Add the Kool-Aid mixture and stir thoroughly until it acquires a uniform consistency, then add ½ teaspoon of citric acid.
- Add ½ a teaspoon of xanthan gum powder and whisk to a uniform consistency.
- Finally, set the burner on low heat and let the mixture cook for roughly 7 minutes.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and put it in a bowl of cold water to cool briefly.
- You can now pour the mixture into the molds. Spray some olive oil onto the molds to prevent the mixture from sticking.
- Put the molds on parchment paper and place them in a refrigerator for an hour to harden. You can also put them into the freezer if you want them even harder.
- Mix 1 cup sugar with ½ a teaspoon of citric acid in a bowl. This is your sugar coating.
- Drops the gummies in the sugar coating, ensuring they are evenly coated, and then place them in a storage bag.

Final Words
Making canna gummies is subjective; you can improvise depending on your goals. Naturally, your recipe should be different if you’re gunning for a longer shelf-life. Some recipes use maple syrup and honey for firmer gummies.
Mold is a major problem with cannabis edibles, so use lots of citric acid and sugar to prevent it from ruining your batch. For flavor, you can use your preferred flavoring, but Kool-Aid works just fine.
